Sooner or later everything falls apart. Well, maybe not everything—but some things; and sometimes, a lot of things.
…a relationship, a job, a dream, health, peace of mind…
And when that happens you’ll need to lean on God. Big time.
But that will be hard to do if your connection is weak, lax and sporadic.
That’s why you need to strengthen your connection with God when times are good. Tune the spiritual muscle. Get consistent. Focus. We’re given a great promise in James 4:8 (CSB): “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
Friends, let me tell you this truth: The only worse thing than falling apart is falling apart apart from God.
Sooner or later you’ll most likely run into some major challenges. And you’ll need to lean on God.
So proactively work on strengthening your connection when times are good.
