Merry Christmas! (Don’t be the 90%)

Merry Christmas everybody!

I’m not sure what you’re up to today, but I hope you take some time to give thanks that God comes to us personally in Jesus to offer forgiveness, salvation, peace, and purpose.

I also invite you to consider this question: How will I make room for Jesus in my life in 2019?

Maybe some of you are on the right track. If so, that’s awesome. Keep it up!

But if some of you aren’t, the time to change is now.

And that’s hard. We humans are very reluctant to change. I read a study where people were told they needed to change a certain behaviour in their lives or else they would die. And guess what? 90% DID NOT CHANGE! Wow. We humans are creatures of habit, even if it’s bad for us.

Don’t be the 90%.

Be someone who takes seriously the power and purpose Christ in your life, and think through how you’d respond to this question:

How will I make room for Jesus in my life in 2019?

Luke 2:17-18 says: “When [the shepherds] had seen [Jesus], they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.”

They couldn’t help but be changed by what they had seen, and they couldn’t help but live differently as a result.

Will we do the same?

How will you make room for Jesus in your life in 2019?

With Jesus, we have everything that matters. Without him, we don’t.
