If you focus your mind on good and godly things, your mind will be focused on good and godly things. Makes sense, right?
But if you focus your mind on negative and ungodly things, your mind will be focused on negative and ungodly things!
To the Philippians, Paul says: “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8).
In short, think about good and godly things. When we do, and when we follow what Paul has taught, “the God of peace will be with you” (verse 9).
Today I want to give you a very practical suggestion to help you with that.
Podcasts.
Podcasts are audio recordings of talks or interviews. A few popular platforms are Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, or Google Podcasts.
If you want to make better use (and more godly use) of your time in the car or bus, during a run, or on a walk—or whenever!—listen to podcasts that focus your mind on good and godly things.
Here are a few suggestions:

–Spirituality for Ordinary People—helping you stay connected to God
–Tim Keller, Gospel in Life—classic sermons by Tim Keller
–Gospelbound—a podcast for firm faith in an anxious age
–The Think Orange Podcast—influencing the faith of the next generation
–Ask Ligonier—responding to biblical Q and A’s
