“whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable… think about such things” (Philippians 4:8).
Some habits are good. Others are bad. We want good ones. We don’t want bad ones.
But what are habits, anyway?
Habits are thoughts or behaviours of repetition and momentum.
As such, good habits grow you, and bad habits corrode you.
That’s why it helps to pause and re-evaluate what has repetition and momentum in your life. Here are some very simple and direct questions to help.
-What needs to keep happening?
-What needs to stop happening?
Or maybe now is the time to ask yourself what needs to start happening.
Good habits grow you; bad habits corrode you.
Evaluate. Choose well. And grow into the likeness of Jesus.
